We are currently contacting parents of 6 pupils from a single class in MBS today . Their class bubble is advised by public health to self-isolate. We will provide supported learning for them complete at home and we look forward to their return next Monday, 19th October.
We have spoken to Public Health and pleased to say that a number of Peter Turner Primary School children will be returning to school on Monday. We have contacted all the parents and carers of pupils who can return, directly.
There are two confirmed cases of C-19 in Peter Turner Primary School. We have assessed the risk to staff and children and taken advice from Public Health England and decided to temporarily close PTP Key Stage 1 and 2 (Years 1-6) until we receive further information. The Early Years bubble is not affected.
On Monday we are looking forward to welcoming back the majority of our children and staff from the MBS bubble - those who were not in contact with the member of the school who tested positive for Covid-19.
