We use the Local Authority catering services for its school meals. All pupils are able to purchase a hot meal daily.
School meals are free for all children in Reception and Years 1 and 2. Older children may also be eligable for free school meals - you can find out more here.
Most pupils eat in one of the school halls where they learn to select a meal from the choice provided by our cook and her team, and eat alongside their class friends. Pupils with more complex needs eat in their classroom in the Margaret Brearley building.
Midday assistants and kitchen staff receive training to help them communicate with the pupils and to support them so that meal times are a pleasant experience for them all.
