VIscovery Day at the Science Museum

When: Saturday 14th October 2017

Where: Science Museum, Exhibition Road, South Kensington, SW7 2DD

Times and details are as follows:

Soil, Cities and Stars – immersive storytelling

Two sessions at: 10.30 and 14.00

Come along to discover some of India’s amazing scientific and cultural marvels. Join us in a journey through spices and the natural world, the wonders of man-made structures and even out into Space!

(Recommended for families with children aged 5+. Approx. 1hour)

 

Tactile Textiles! – workshop

Two sessions at: 12.00 and 14.00

Join us in a messy and creative hands-on workshop all about textile design. Discover block printing, get creative and print your very own T-shirt.

(Recommended for families with children aged 5+. Approx. 1hour)

 

Object-handling session

Choose between: 11.00, 11.45, 13.15 and 14.00

Want to know more about the Science Museum’s collection? Meet our Conservation Team and get hands on with some of the objects related to our Illuminating India Exhibition.

(Recommended for families with children aged 5+. Approx. 30 minutes)
