Parents tell the RNIB that the one of the most difficult and distressing parts of finding out that their child has a vision impairment (VI), is knowing how to talk about it with their child.
The RNIB have produced this guidance to support parents and carers as they think about this issue. They have spoken to parents of children with VI and young people and adults with vision impairment themselves who have told them what was most helpful for them.
