Sporting Sense - a new project by SENSE to break down some of the barriers stopping young people participating in sport. The project aims to increase demand and opportunities to participate in sport and physical activity. For young people 14 and older.
All sessions are free to attend, and parents/carers are welcome to go along and join in.
All sessions are at New Barnet & Southgate Learning Disability Centre of Excellence, Southgate Campus, High Street, Southgate, N14 6BS.
London - Multi Sports Dates: Monday 6, 13, 20 and 27th February Time: 6 - 7 pm Range of sports including football, hockey, tennis, goal ball and cricket.
London - Sensory Sessions Dates: Saturday 11, 18, 25 February and 4th March Time: 1 - 2 p.m. Range of activities to include ball games to help develop hand-eye coordination and encourage movement as well as interactive sports themed games utilising a projector.
