The Whitefield Research Library — previously known as the Turner Library — is a unique special education library offering a loan and reference service and help with accessing specialist information, serving our members locally, nationally and internationally.
Our comprehensive selection of books and journals cover many SEN, early years and educational related subjects including:
- Educational management and teaching
- SEN Law
Anyone can join our library on payment of an annual fee of £25. Parents of children at Whitefield Schools or Joseph Clarke School may become members for free.
Membership is available to individuals or organisations, but books are only loaned in person to individual members.

Joining the library gives you access to a wide range of journals, listed below. We also hold a large number of articles from a wide range of other national and international journals.
