Whitefield Outreach Service provides advice and support for mainstream school staffwho have pupils with special educational needs.
We are looking to recruit an Administrative officer to provide administrative support for the service. You will support the delivery of the service and be a point of contact for enquiries, maintaining effective and efficient systems and procedures.
You will work in close liaison with all outreach staff and directly under the Head of Outreach. You will also liaise with other professionals within Waltham Forest. You must be a be a confident user of IT and experience of working with Excel is essential. Ideally you will also have experience managing website content , Twitter and webinars.
- Fixed term contract until 31 August 2021
- 36 hours x 47 weeks (term time only plus 2 weeks)
- Salary S12 (Scale 5) actual salary £22,050 p.a.

Whitefield Schools – an outstanding school based in Walthamstow which provides specialist education for pupils with complex needs including communication and interaction difficulties.
Joseph Clarke School – a school which is highly regarded for its expertise in visual impairment based nearby in Highams Park

Whitefield’s Research and Development Centre, organises training for school staff and other professionals and offers Schools Direct placements. It also hosts an excellent library and an Outreach Service which supports pupils across 4 Local Authorities
Waltham Forest as an area combines the best aspects of vibrant city living with easy access to some beautiful green spaces. It has excellent transport links.
