This calendar  holds all the local events that we know about, that aren't  organised by the School, but which we think might interest parents and carers of children and young people with special needs.

This event will take place between 11:00am and 2:00pm on 09/10/2016 and on the 2nd Sunday of the month, every 1 month until 01/06/2017.

The group has been running since 2009 and aims:

  • To provide a unique special interest facility for children and young people on the autistic spectrum and their families;
  • To provide an opportunity for families to share and learn new strategies for promoting the learning and social skills of our children, using their love of trains as an entry point;
  • To create a friendly and supportive atmosphere in which all children, siblings, parents and other family members can feel comfortable and relaxed;
  • To involve brothers and sisters in the often solitary activities of their siblings on the autistic spectrum;
  • To provide opportunities for brothers and sisters with ASD siblings to share experiences.

Everybody is welcome. If you think your child would enjoy the sessions, please come along.
There is no charge for attendance.

A monthly ‘train club’ for children on the autistic spectrum and their families in the North East London area.  The club has  Model Hornby railways & train sets for all abilities will be set up and a range of train-related resources for children to play with.

Train-loving children who are not on the spectrum also welcome. and there is no charge.
