 The Turner Library

 Ø     What is the Turner Library?

The Turner Library is a unique special education library offering a loan and reference service, a bi-monthly bulletin and help with accessing specialist information, serving members locally, nationally and internationally.

  Ø     What topics are covered?

The books and journals cover many SEN and educational related subjects including:

  • Disabilities

  • Curriculum

  • Educational management and teaching

  • Research

  • SEN law

  • Psychology

Ø     What is the Bulletin?

 The Whitefield Current Awareness Bulletin is a bi-monthly publication which indexes 100 articles selected from the Library’s 90+  serials collection.  Members may access selected articles, subject to Copyright, via a swift, cheap and efficient article copying and delivery service.

 Ø     Who can join the Turner Library?

Anyone can join on payment of an annual fee.  Membership is available to individuals or organizations, but books are only loaned in person to individual members.
