Outreach ServicesThe Inclusion Project has been running in Waltham Forest since 2003. As part of this initiative, the Outreach Service at Whitefield offers practical support in mainstream schools for children with communication and interaction difficulties and children with learning difficulties and developmental delay. This takes the form of observations of students and discussions with staff, resulting in practical advice and resources given. Written reports are submitted following this and further support visits made to the school as necessary. Whitefield Outreach can provide training in school on a variety of topics related to communication and interaction and learning difficulties. We can also offer visits for staff from mainstream schools to Whitefield to observe our practice here.
