Training and Outreach

In addition to the schools, Whitefield Schools and Centre is a professional learning organisation and an information centre, which offers a continuum of learning and support opportunities within the field of special education.  The School aims to contribute not only to the professional development of colleagues within the Whitefield Schools but also teachers, parents and other professionals working in the field of special education regionally, nationally and internationally.  In order to support and inform colleagues we have developed a centre for professional development and information.

The centre for professional development and information is housed in a purpose built block in the Rangoonwala building, on the Whitefield site.  The Rangoonwala Centre for Professional Development and Information.  The site also includes the Turner Library and Resources Centre.
