Friends of Whitefield Schools
Who are the Friends of Whitefield Schools?
They are a group that consists of parents, school
staff and friends of Whitefield Schools and Centre. A committee of some 18
members meet on a half-term basis
to discuss future plans and projects.
Aims
- to provide equipment and facilities that cannot be
provided from the budget distributed by the Local Authority, and in
general to improve the quality of experience at school for our pupils.
- to make up the shortfall for short term residential
education visits and social education trips for children whose families
cannot afford the whole cost.
The Friends of Whitefield Schools strives continuously
to maintain high standards for all its projects and runs a series of fund
raising events throughout the year.
Suggestions and ideas for new fundraising events are
always very welcome. Please get in touch with the school if you would like
to be actively involved in supporting the Friends of Whitefield committee.
