Whitefield Schools and Centre is the largest special school in Europe and
has an international reputation for its expertise and resources within the
special school sector. It is situated on the outskirts of East London, within
the Borough of Waltham Forest. It is a Foundation Special School that caters
for pupils who come from up to 30 different Local Education Authorities.
There are 300 pupils on roll who have a wide range of Special
Educational Needs. In order to successfully address the children’s learning
needs Whitefield Schools and Centre operates as three Specialist Schools
- Sensory Impairment and Learning Difficulties (SILD)
- Communication and Interaction Primary (CIP)
- Communication and Interaction Secondary (CIS)
Our Mission
